It would not be summer without fresh mint in pots on the porch and the garden. Mint is so easy to grow, it has such a wonderful fresh scent, and it can be used for all sorts of things.

Here are some simple ways to use mint:

Put a few fresh mint or peppermint branches in a teapot with your favorite tea. Drag can be 2-3 minutes and serve.

Use sprigs mint as a pretty garnish for a special dessert.

For a casual arrangement for your dining room or kitchenTable, fill an attractive glass or ceramic jug vase or other container with water. Add several long branches of fresh mint (being sure to layer removed, all mint, would be covered by water). The mint will add color in the room, scent the air, and even help remove pesky ants.

Pot your favorite mint in a pretty container on your porch for a welcoming fresh scent for everyone who comes to visit.

Add chopped mint and scrambled eggs,Omelettes, quiches or casseroles.

Mix with mint in your regular tabbouleh recipe for a refreshing summer salad.

Add mint cooked peas, carrots, potatoes, or at the end of the cooking process, then you throw the mint before serving the vegetables.

Make frozen mint cubes to use in many of your favorite foods and beverages. Finely chop a few sprigs of mint, stuff them into Ice Cube Trays, and give each section of the tray with water. Freeze. When frozen, empty the shelvesinto freezer bags. Use the mint cubes for iced tea or other drinks, or put a few cubes in your favorite casserole or stew.

Remember the next time ... Just think of the creation of a special court, or even an attractive offer on the table that he was with mint.
