One of the most spectacular dances of Rajasthan, it consists of veiled women dancers balancing pots more nimble on their heads and at the same time, pirouettes, and then fluctuate with the soles of the feet on a glass, or squatting on the edge of a sword. There is a sense of cutting edge suspense to the performance. The dance is a feat of astonishing skill.
