The spectacular cascade of water is a jaw dropping and awe inspiring sight.

There are numerousPlaces that both the American and Horseshoe Falls, on the U.S. or Canada side view, but the best place to really feel the case on the legendary Maid of the Mist. Ultimately you will be ferried to the base of Horseshoe Falls. Here, the true power of the case sits before with a deafening roar, so youcan hardly hear the captain's dramatic announcement: "This is ... Niagara Falls."

After drying out our thrilling Maid of the Mist experience, it was time for the short 20 minutesTrip to the Lake Erie port city of Buffalo. We checked into our hotel in the city, the comfortable Best Western Inn on the Avenue, settle in for our 3 nights at the Buffalo Niagara region. With a special local food specialty on our mind, we headed for a Buffalo institution, the world-famous AnchorBar

The Anchor Bar is, of course, as the origin of buffalo wings known. Since 1964, this neighborhood gem has been rotating several styles of chicken wings, a delicious than the other. Be as good as the chicken wings, you should try a different specialty Buffalo, Beef on Weck. It is cut thin slices of bread with roast beef, served on a specialty roll called Kimmelweck, which is basically a round bun with deli-style course, salt and onions on top. Washed down with a jugalways wonderful Genesee Cream Ale, which is so far into the sky, like you get in western New York! If all this makes you hungry, do not worry, the Anchor Bar wings ship overnight throughout the country.

Visited during the next three days before and after the winery, we were experiencing and knowing, Buffalo. This is a proud, friendly town with historic architecture and vibrant entertainment and shopping abound. It is also a city of four seasons. Temperatureswill be moderated by Lake Erie, and we learned that the mercury never reached 100 in Buffalo. In winter, the area of Buffalo, a paradise for skiers. Make sure you take your time here ... the setting and the grounds are breathtaking.

We shared this winery visits in a three day period, a visit to a maximum of four per day. The best part about this wine route is the proximity of the wineries ... They are not only an easy drive of each other, but they are very close as well as Buffalo.
