A Victorian Tea Party would be the smartest of all. Everything in the Victorian era was rich. To cancel your grandmothers china, silver, crystal and serving pieces. The breeder, the better. Of course, if you would break a truly precious possession which the heart was damaged when he, do not use for the party. Accidents happen to do! Before your house ready and prepare your meals, you need to send invitations.
Invitation Ideas
There areso many possibilities. With today's computer programs you can make some good at home. Tuck an actual tea bag in the invitation. Maybe some do with paper napkins and scrapbooking supplies.
DECORATING & Serve
You want the house as nice as possible to make. Fresh flowers are a must, use them everywhere. I had a birthday tea in early June and I have vases peonies everywhere, they are beautiful. Use traditional vases or teapots, which are no longerCovers are. Sometimes you can then find a bargain, since they no longer have a lid! Use Both Candles & scattered votives or tealights. I use some of those fancy shaped Christmas light that are now sold in all forms. I have some pretty heart & flower Ones where (some & even some dragonfly lights are for the Fairy Tea Party - see my page on fairy tea parties) Play music softly in the background. There are even tea party music CD's can be bought. Try for tableclothsLace or damask. Scatter silk rose petals on the table. Use real linen or fancy paper napkins. I have some napkins with a monogram on an antique store in California last year. They were cheap, I think, because not too many people an "O" have monogram.

I love the pedestal cake plates or the tiered serving piece. I have several I bought at the Salvation Army. I bought a vintage hobnail cake plates for $ 1 It has a repair on the pedestal part, but I believe with suitable cover band! Make sure you have many scented candles, creative with your candle. Use paper or tatted doily under or onPieces.Be serve you sure that you have a nice glass or crystal hand for water. Maybe not all of your guests drink tea.
To use for serving sugar or with teacups, or as a party make sure some of demitasse spoons I sell to be seen. Are not they cute! Tie them to a tea bag with a small satin ribbon and you have a favorite tea party favor. If you find some bargains, give each guest a nice cup of tea to take home.
